Königsdorf

KÖNIGSDORF : founded between the 6th and 8th century
First mentioned in the year 1051, located about 15 km from Cologne.
There are more than 10.000 people living in Königsdorf and the village´s height is 82,55 m above zero.
The picture in the middle shows an old picture postcard from the last century while the background shows the well known "WEISSPFENNIG", a coin , which was manufactured in Königsdorf in the year 1421 and 1422.
